The
Health Psychology Research Center in Bulgaria conducts research projects
which aim to elucidate the relationships between psychosocial factors
and health. The research takes place mainly in Bulgaria, and is
often part of international comparative studies, in cooperation with
other research and professional organizations in the field of health
psychology. The Research Center also organizes
seminars and lectures in the field.
The
Research Center
works in collaboration with the European Health Psychology
Society (EHPS): www.ehps.net.
It aims to create a network of scholars from the psychological and
social sciences, working in similar areas, and to sponsor their
membership in the European Health Psychology Society. The Research Center
also provides fellowships for participation in professional conferences,
as well as in seminars for early career health psychologists (CREATE: www.ehps.net/create)
